We serve progressive desserts – far from chocolate cake and vanilla soufflés. We invite our guests on a highly sophisticated culinary journey inspired by international cuisines. The flavours include savoury, salty, bitter, umami elements and of course, a balanced sweetness – because we only use the natural sweetness from the basic products. White flour is avoided and dairy products only appear in individual courses in the form of cheese. Of course, we use only the highest quality ingredients in our pairing drinks too.
Our Menu
We only serve menus. À la carte ordering is not part of our culinary concept. The dinner starting from 6 pm consists of 7 courses + snacks, including pairing drinks and chocolates. From 10 pm, the menu consists of 5 courses + snacks, including pairing drinks and chocolates. The latter is an “excerpt” from the 7-course menu. In principle, our dishes are not suitable for sharing, as all components are harmoniously coordinated and should be enjoyed by the guest as a whole.
We serve a pairing drink of 2 cl with each course, containing a low alcohol content or, on request, completely alcohol-free. We consider these drinks to be an element of each respective dish and they are therefore also included in the menu price. Additional drinks can of course be ordered from our exquisite wine and sake list; these are then not included in the menu price.
Our Menu
Our wine and sake list with over 300 positions offers the perfect complement to the menu and the pairing drinks. We focus on Japanese sake, sparkling wines from Germany and Champagne, and light Rieslings from the Mosel Valley.
Our wine list
The 7-course menu from 6 pm comprises a full dinner. It is therefore recommended not to eat anything beforehand.
The 5-course menu from 10 pm is intended for a later moment of pleasure and is suitable for guests who have already made their first visit to another restaurant.
We would like to ask you to indicate any known allergies or intolerances when making your reservation. This is the only way we can prepare suitable alternatives for the evening. Unfortunately, we cannot consider allergy information given with too short of notice.
A variety of nuts, stone fruits and legumes are used in our cuisine. Especially with regard to the different types of nuts, we need an explicit indication of exactly which allergy is involved.
In case of allergies to coconut, almond and soy, please contact us by phone. In this case, we can only serve a small number of dishes.
If you are lactose intolerant, we unfortunately cannot offer any alternative
A vegetarian menu is possible without advance notice. Unfortunately, we do not offer a vegan option.
We are happy to adapt our menu in the event of pregnancy. For example, pairing drinks will of course be served alcohol-free. Please inform us in advance. Please note, however, that we cannot guarantee an alcohol content of less than 0.5% by volume in our dishes.
Our dessert plates are all gluten-free.
We ask for online reservations directly via our website. A credit card is required to make a binding reservation, but we will not charge it in advance. For walk-ins, we are unable to offer space in most cases. Our style of cuisine requires exceptional preparation time and requires a corresponding lead time for each guest.
Reservations for more than 6 and up to a maximum of 8 guests can only be made by e-mail at table@coda-berlin.com.
Cancellations or postponements can be made up to 48 hours before the reserved date. Otherwise, the cancellation fee for the 7-course menu is €200 per person, and for the 5-course menu €100. This fee is only waived if an adequate replacement reservation is found for the table.
We seat our guests at tables and the bar. Solo reservations sit at the bar. Groups of more than 3 people, on the other hand, are always automatically seated at a table. Also helpful to know: Our online reservation system initially offers two bar seats when booking for 2 people. Only when all seats have been allocated does the tool show free tables. We are happy to accept special seating requests in advance at table@coda-berlin.com.
The menu prices always include the pairing drinks and VAT per person. On weekdays, the CODA dessert menu with 7 or 5 courses is less expensive than on weekends, before and on public holidays. The exact price can be found on the current menu.
Aperitifs, water, coffee, digestives, wines and much more can be ordered in addition to the selected menu for an additional fee.
Payments are possible with us in cash and by card. We accept all cards except American Express. Unfortunately, we cannot accept banknotes over €200 for cash payments.
Of course. Vouchers can be ordered via our website. They are sent as pdf attachments by e-mail. Vouchers can also be purchased in the restaurant to take home immediately.
We only offer value vouchers. A specific menu cannot be booked. The validity is 3 years as regulated by law.
Important: Online vouchers can only be redeemed online. Vouchers that were purchased before 2022 (digitally or as a takeaway) cannot be deposited in our new reservation tool. In this case, simply present the voucher when you visit the restaurant - we will then redeem it on-site as normal.

Our restaurant is located in Berlin’s Neukölln neighbourhood and is somewhat hidden on Friedelstrasse, right next to the building entrance of number 47. Our location offers the perfect environment for us: we appreciate the diversity and community spirit here. We also value the culinary development within our neighbourhood. It fills us with joy to be a part of it and to belong here.
Individual bookings for the entire restaurant are possible. The maximum capacity is 28 people. Please feel free to direct all enquiries to table@coda-berlin.com.
Yes, we are happy to offer adapted menus for children. We just ask you to inform us in advance of the little guest and their age when you make your reservation. That way we can better coordinate how to adapt the menu accordingly.
Dogs are welcome here. However, we kindly ask you to indicate your four-legged friends in advance when making your reservation, so that we can find a perfect spot under the table for your faithful companion.
